Hey Y’all welcome to another blog post. Initially when I prepared this content I was gonna make a full on series called Twiggy eats ! Each month I planned on showing you guys a new spot to eat at in NYC whether you live out here or plan on visiting. Unfortunately, Ms. Rona AKA the corona virus has ruined going out to eat for everyone. Luckily, I went to a couple places that I can still feature pre - quarantine and you can put these places on your food wishlist. This month I will be featuring flip n toss.
*In the photo there is the Shrimp Mac & Cheese With Sweet Potato Fries and The Cajun Burger that comes with Fried Chicken, Bacon, Lettuce, and Onion.*
Flip N toss is located in West Village on 82nd Christopher St. It is not super big which you will see in the video so ideally you want to try and go at a good time because they can get crowded. I went at a decent time because I was able to sit down and eat and as I was sitting and waiting more people started to come. They are notable for their burgers, mac and cheese, and delicious shakes. They have salads as well.
I found out about Flip N Toss via Instagram. Almost every food blogger in NYC has visited this place so I wanted to see what the hype was all about.
The staff was nice and the cashier gave great recommendation when I asked. The food was delicious and surprisingly it didn’t take long either, but there was literally no one before me so I got lucky.
I think my favorite thing out of everything was the Shrimp Mac and cheese.
I would give this place a 9.5 ... The food and the ambiance was AMAZING, but the prices are crazy to me.
This place is pricey so I recommend going when you feel like spoiling yourself :) Unfortunately this place is fully closed due to the Corona Virus, but please keep an eye for them when they do open back up on their Instagram @flipntossny.
