Remembering My Why

Hey y'all welcome to another blog post. Today I just wanted to write and share with you all why I started my blog in the first place. I consider you guys my family and I want to be very transparent with you all.

For starters, I've been a blogger for two years now and I have my moments where I get so discouraged. I look at my progress and I'm like " yeah this is great, but there is still so much that I need to do." I get to questioning my growth, not even realizing everything that I've accomplished thus far. I'll admit, that sometimes I don't take my own advice and if you've been keeping up with me you know that I always say " I'm a work in progress." I had to seriously sit down and reevaluate why I started this journey in the first place.

Why I started

I started this blog to connect with different people. I find joy in learning and growing with others and I've seen amazing things happen just by sharing your space with other people. I love talking to you guys and feeling like I can be of value to you all. Whether it be through my positivity content, sharing my love and tips of fashion with you guys, or putting you guys on to any new experiences I may have. Making an impact and building community with you all is what it is all about. That is why I started .... I want to spread love and light in everything that I do. I hope you all see my passion in this because this is everything to me.

I'm not gonna lie, social media plays a BIG part in why I get discouraged from time to time. There is this notion that you have to have it all together in your early twenties without any ifs, ands, or buts, but I say SCREW that. I obviously want to continue to grow my brand, but I gotta remind myself to slow down. Here's a message: What is for you is for you and your time will come. It does not matter what somebody else is doing, how far somebody else is, you will have your moment. I'm a firm believer that if you work hard, you will get the results that you want even if it does take a little time. It is necessary for me to take breaks so that I can give myself time to breathe and remember my why. Life happens and sometimes you have to give yourself reminders, and that is okay.

You live and you learn and I really wanted to share this with you all my why. Not only do I have to remind myself all the time, but I figure I share it with y'all too so y'all know that my heart is in the right place when it comes to this. We family and we're going to continue to grow with one another. I love you guys and as always please do not hesitate to connect with me on my socials.

Until Next Time My Loves,
