How would you describe your personal style ?
" I try to challenge myself, be a chameleon, but at the end of the day I practically know what’s comfortable for me. I adore textures, patterns, and the color blue."
What are three words that describe you ?
" I think I’m pretty saucy, sociable, and slippery."
What is some fashion advice that you would want to share with others ?
" I wouldn’t take fashion advice from myself, personally. Here’s some free guidance, though: wear what makes you feel good about yourself, whatever expresses your interests, personalize your wardrobe if you can muster the effort. Make yourself happy in your own skin, no matter what it takes. "
Who is your biggest fashion inspiration ?
" I think sometimes I can be of a J. Crew ad, mixed in with some Urban Outfitters. My biggest fashion inspiration is actually my mother. She is my inspiration with most things, if we are being honest. She has such a modern take on class and authenticity. "
Where do you go shopping ?
" I’ll go anywhere once! I’m actually interested in being more ethically-inclined with my clothes, but I’ll get back to you on that. Online retail really hits the right spots during sales and for certain clothes not readily found on people walking around your neighborhood. For some reason though, I’ve found myself simultaneously drawn to and burned by brick-and-mortar stores. Selections in-store have been getting drier by the season. Fitting, no? "
In your opinion, what is a big fashion no no ?
" Don’t cater to expectation with what you wear for pleasure. Feel for yourself, deep in your gut; let that feeling, let your style bloom. Don’t apologize if style’s not your cup of tea, either. I’m sure you have interests I would never think of! Be unapologetic with your fashion sense. Be free to explore, and be proud you’re you. That always looks good on someone to me. "
